简要总结
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a progressive and irreversible deterioration of kidney function characterized by a decline in glomerular filtration rate (GFR), structural kidney damage, and disturbances in electrolyte, fluid, and acid-base balance. According to the KDIGO (Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes) guidelines, CKD is defined as either structural or functional abnormalities of the kidneys persisting for more than three months, with implications for health. It is staged based on the estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and the degree of proteinuria. Thus, conducting a hospital-based study on DUE and DUR in CKD patients is timely and necessary. It will not only generate baseline data on prescribing practices but also identify gaps in rational prescribing and provide recommendations to improve drug therapy. Ultimately, this study aims to enhance patient safety, therapeutic outcomes, and cost- effectiveness of CKD management
