Inclusion Criteria
All patients who were/are being treated in the Clinic for Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Surgery at Heidelberg University Hospital between 01/2005 and 12/2024 due to a Stanford type B aortic dissection.
Exclusion Criteria
All patients under the age of 18 and patients who are unable to give their consent as well as patients who do not speak German.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Quality of life measured by the standardized questionnaires SF36, PA-F-KF and a non-validated self-developed questionnaire.<br>Longitudinal representation of the quality of life (QoL) of dissection patients from diagnosis or from the beginning of therapy, influence of different forms of therapy on the development and course of QoL.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Type and duration of surgery, surgical complications, length of hospital stay, identification of clinical, demographic, and socioeconomic variables associated with poorer quality of life, presentation of dimensions of quality of life that are particularly critical at specific time points.
