简要总结
It is an observational study. The aim of this study is to identify the predictive factors for difficult transesophageal echocardiography probe insertion in adult patients undergoing cardiac surgery. To predict this we will be considering demographic factors such as gender and body mass index and airway factors like modified mallampatti classification, cormack-lehane grading and thyromental distance of the patient. We will also be assessing the manoeuvre that will be used in case of a difficult transesophageal echocardiography probe insertion.

入选标准
- •Asa 2 and Asa 3 fit patients.
- •Patients that are haemodynamically stable and giving written informed consent.
排除标准
- •Patients with restricted mouth opening and or neck extension.
- •Patients with absolute or relative contraindications for transesophageal echocardiography probe placement.

- To calculate the percentage of Difficulty contributed by the Airway factors such as modified Mallampatti classification, modified Cormack-Lehane grading, & Thyromental distance of the Patient in transesophageal Echocardiography probe Insertion.(It will be assessed instantly when the procedure is done & the outcomes will be recorded.)
