The Criteria for Inclusion in the Study Were: being over 60 years old; having diabetes type 2 for more than a year; Being able to read and write and willingness to participate in the study. exclusion criteria were: having severe mental problem such as depression; receiving any psychological treatment in the past year; having sever complications resulted from diabetes such as diabetic foot; severe ulcer; amputation, the use of narcotic drugs and drug abuse in the past month.
