简要总结
A clinical trial with 42 subjects will be selected fromthe OPD of Salakyatantra Department Govt. Ayurveda College Tripunithura based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Gingival index and bleeding index scoring will be done before intervention. The subjects will be given Ayurvedic management for 30 days. Assessment will be done on 0 th , 8 th , 15 th day and 31 st day and a follow up assessment will be done on 46 th day. A case proforma is created and data will be collected. Outcome of the study will be graded as per the parameters and results will be statistically analysed .

入选标准
- •1.Subjects of all genders among the age group of 30-60 yrs.
- •Patients with good glycaemic control 3.Subject having cardinal features of gingivitis namely redness of gums, swollengums, bleeding gums.
排除标准
- •1.Pregnant and lactating woman 2.Subjects who have undertaken any medications like antibiotics , non-steroidal anti -inflammatory drugs, oral contraceptive pills , antiepileptic drugs, calciumchannel blockers in the past 3 months.
- •Vitamin C deficiency 4.Subjects underwent oral prophylaxis in the past 6 months 5.Patient under treatment for gingivitis
- •Subjects with inability to comply with the follow up visit.
- •Severe form of gingivitis associated with calculus.
