Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients with supratentorial stroke within 1 month of onset
  • Presence of motor and sensory deficits as measured on Fugl Meyer Assessment scale\-Upper extremity (FMA\-UE)
  • Ability to understand and follow commands

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients scoring \<20 on Mini mental state examination (MMSE). 14, 15
  • Patients with unilateral neglect measured by Star cancellation test or other visual/auditory/ impairments, wernickeâ??s/global aphasia
  • Patients with premorbid upper extremity deficits on the hemiplegic side
  • Lack of consent
  • Those unwilling/unable to participate
