Inclusion Criteria
PRIMI WITH ABOVE 37WEEKS OF GESTATIONAL AGE WITH OUT ANY MEDICAL ILLNESS
Exclusion Criteria
1. Parturient refusal for the procedure
2. Platelet count less than one lakh per dL
3. Coagulopathy with INR greater than 1.5
4. Patients on magnesium infusion

Name Time Method Compare effectiveness of analgesia according to VAS scale, FACES score and maternal satisfaction, hemodynamic changes and neonatal outcome. <br/ ><br>Compare the side effect profiles of the two gruops. <br/ ><br>Look for feasibility of using a single shot spinal for providing safe labour analgesia in more centres minimizing the equipment and manpower requirements so that all labouring women have access to pain relief.Timepoint: Before intrathecal injection <br/ ><br>20 minutes after intrathecal injection <br/ ><br>When epidural infusion is started <br/ ><br>At full dilatation
