Inclusion Criteria
Based on clear sign & symptoms of IBS
Exclusion Criteria
1.Bleeding per rectum.
2.Mixed infection with parasites like round worms, hook worms etc.
3.Evidence of malignancy
4.Diabetes Mellitus, hypertension and other clinical co-morbidities
5.Medication with corticosteroids, antidepressants, anticholinergics, etc. or any other drugs that may have an influence on the outcome of the study.
6.Suffering from major systemic illness necessitating long term drug treatment
