- •- Patients who are found to have an aortic aneurym larger than 6 cm diameter and who elect to undergo elective open surgical ( as opposed to radiological endovascular stenting) repair of the aneurysm.
- •- Males and Females
- •- Aged between 18 and 75 years
- •Are the trial subjects under 18? no
- •Number of subjects for this age range:
- •F.1.2 Adults (18-64 years) yes
- •F.1.2.1 Number of subjects for this age range
- •F.1.3 Elderly (>=65 years) yes

排除标准
- •- Patients who have diabetes mellitus.
- •- Patients with an active proven bacterial or viral infection.
- •- Pre-existing cortico-steroid therapy.
- •- Systemic fungal infection.
- •- Acute renal failure or renal replacement therapy.
- •- Patients who are pregnant or lactating will be excluded.
