入选标准
- •Patients undergoing general anesthesia for orthopedic or general surgery
- •- Age 65 years old or older
- •- Patients with less than 15 points on the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE)
排除标准
- •- American Society of Anesthesiologist(ASA) physical status classification IV, V
- •- If normal assessment is difficult because of language barrier, speech disorder, sleep disturbance, mental retardation and dementia
- •- Someone who have a neurological or psychiatric disorder that shows depression, developmental disabilities, sleep disorder, anxiety or excitement, or decreased concentration
- •- If communication is difficult because of visual or hearing impairment
- •- History of anesthesia and surgery within a month
