Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All children between 1 to 18 years with duration of type 1 Diabetes Mellitus of less than 6years
- •All should be registered in Diabetic OPD of KLES Dr Prabhakar Kore Hospital and Research Centre
Exclusion Criteria
- •Children with evidence of severe complications at diagnosis
- •Pancreatic exocrine disease
- •Other types of diabetes like Monogenic, Type 2 diabetes, Drug induced
- •Children on immunosuppressive drugs
- •Children with immunosuppressive diseases
- •Children with genetic syndromes
- •End stage renal disease
- •Refusal for enrolment to study
