The circumstances/conditional factors that, in addition to challenging behaviour/behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD) in people with dementia, lead to (re-)admission to geriatric psychiatry are examined. In the integrative review, the circumstances were specified as crisis-determining factors.
