Inclusion Criteria
- •For people with lived experiences (patients, relatives or other affected persons):
- •- No moderate or severe dementia or comparable neurodegenerative diseases.
- •- Able to give informed and independent consent
- •- Direct or indirect experience with a specific neurodegenerative and/or mental illness or addiction problem and related to the commission of a criminal offence that led to placement in a forensic psychiatric ward
- •- Interest in participatory research
- •For professional experts :
- •- Professors, (senior) physicians, psychologists, peer support workers, scientists working in the fields of dementia/forensics/neurodegenerative diseases
- •- Experience in the field of patient involvement/participatory research not mandatory
Exclusion Criteria
- •For people with lived experiences (patients, relatives or other affected persons):
- •- Moderate or severe dementia and comparable neurodegenerative diseases
- •- Younger than 18 years of age
- •- No direct or indirect experience with a specific neurodegenerative and/or mental illness or an addiction problem and, in connection therewith, the commission of a criminal offence which led to placement in a forensic psychiatric ward.
- •- Unable to give informed and independent consent
- •For professional experts :
- •- Professors, (senior) physicians, psychologists, peer support workers, scientists not working in the fields of dementia/forensics/neurodegenerative diseases
