Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Elderly patients aged 60 years and over, coming from of the surgery service of the Hospital Universitário Antônio Pedro e Hospital Federal de Servidores do Estado in the preoperative period of hernia repair and laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
- •Own cell phone or landline
- •available for contact by the nurse.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients diagnosed with dementia; patients with hearing deficit without a companion who can receive interventions by phone; patients
- •undergoing surgery to treat previous surgical complications.
