- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Analysis of the attitude of affected families and the SAPV-KJ team of the University Hospital Freiburg towards the use of telecare technologies are available.
The attitudes of the families concerned are ascertained by means of targeted guideline-supported individual interviews. Some of the families interviewed have already had experience with video contact in the context of palliative care. Because families with children with life-shortening illnesses are in care for different lengths of time or for short periods, no fixed points in time are defined. Rather, parents are asked to indicate if and when they are willing to be interviewed. This flexible time approach takes into account the high vulnerability of those to be interviewed.
The attitudes of SAPV-KJ team members will be surveyed before (as part of the needs assessment) and 8 months after the introduction of new telecare applications by means of 2 group discussions per survey time point, each with approximately 6 participants.
