Brief Summary

It is a retrospective study. After obtaining administrative permissions and CTRI approval data will be collected through record review method. Medical records of the patients who were treated and who were readmitted for acute pancreatitis from 1st January 2019 to 31st December 2020 will be obtained. Each medical record will be thoroughly reviewed for relevant data. Data will be entered into prepared tools. Descriptive and inferential statistics will be used for data analysis.

Inclusion Criteria
  • Male and female patients aged above 18 years.
  • Patients with any comorbidities such as endocrine disorders, liver disease, kidney and cardiac problems will be included.
  • All patients diagnosed and treated for acute pancreatitis in a selected tertiary care hospital.
  • Admitted within the period of 1st January 2019 to 31st December 2020.
