Inclusion Criteria

Subjects between 11- and 16-year age group irrespective of

gender, caste, religion and race.

- Subjects having body mass index (BMI) < 18.5 (As per WHO

Classification).

Exclusion Criteria

- Subjects who are known case of systemic disease or history of chronic diseases such as Tuberculosis, Juvenile Diabetes, infectious diseases, Hyperthyroidism, IBS, Anaemia, Autoimmune diseases which

cause weight loss.

- Any food or drug allergy.

Primary Outcome Measures

The weight gaining effect of Kharjura Modak will be evaluated by observing the subjects through objective criteria which includes Weight in kg (Wt.),Height in cm (Ht.), BMI, Mid arm circumference (MAC), Chest circumference (CC), Hip circumference (HC), Waist circumference (WC).Timepoint: Kharjura Modak of approximately 20 grams will be given to each subject till consumption of 45 Modak within 55 days. Follow will be taken after consumption of 15th, 30th, 45th Modak by each subject.

To promote the Kharjura as a dietary supplement in day-to-day life.Timepoint: Kharjura Modak of approximately 20 grams will be given to each subject till consumption of 45 Modak within 55 days. Follow will be taken after consumption of 15th, 30th, 45th Modak by each subject.
