Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Singleton pregnancy more than 36 weeks of gestation.
- •Uncomplicated vaginal delivery
Exclusion Criteria
- •unwilling to participate
- •instrumental delivery
- •haemodyanamic instability
- •antepartum haemmorrhage
- •IUGR in foetus detected by usg
- •need for immediate resuscitation in new born
- •tight nucal cord in newborn warranting immediate clamping and cutting of cord
