Inclusion Criteria
- •Participants scheduled for coronary artery bypass graft were recruited considering the following inclusion criteria; Ability to communicate with the researcher effectively during the initial interview; Willingness to participate in the research; being able to handle meetings and spiritual-religious interventions; Physical and mental fitness to answer the questions; At least, reading and writing ability; ability to speak Persian language and; being Muslim and Shia. Exclusion criteria: Frequent absences from meetings or with drawing from participation in the spiritual-religious care program; The patients who had low depression on pre test.
