Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Diagnosis of mild to moderate alcohol use disorder according to DSM V, i.e., 2\-5 criteria met.
  • \- Sufficient ability to communicate with investigators, to answer questions in oral and written form
  • \- Ability to give fully informed consent (Fully Informed
  • \- Normal or correctable (with contact lenses) visual impairment.

Exclusion Criteria

  • \- severe withdrawal symptoms (CIWA\-R \> 4\).
  • \- Alcohol intoxication (breath alcohol concentration \> 0\.3 ‰)
  • \- History of withdrawal complications or severe withdrawal symptomatology.
  • \- Axis I disorder according to DSM V (except alcohol dependence and specific
  • Phobia within the past 12 months).
  • \- Current substance abuse (THC, amphetamine, opiates, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, and cocaine)
  • \- Wearing glasses (without the ability to wear contact lenses)
  • \- Traumatic brain injury or injury/surgery to the head \- Parkinson's disease or epilepsy as a pre\-existing condition
