•Diagnosis of mild to moderate alcohol use disorder according to DSM V, i.e., 2\-5 criteria met.
•\- Sufficient ability to communicate with investigators, to answer questions in oral and written form
•\- Ability to give fully informed consent (Fully Informed
•\- Normal or correctable (with contact lenses) visual impairment.

•\- severe withdrawal symptoms (CIWA\-R \> 4\).
•\- Alcohol intoxication (breath alcohol concentration \> 0\.3 ‰)
•\- History of withdrawal complications or severe withdrawal symptomatology.
•\- Axis I disorder according to DSM V (except alcohol dependence and specific
•Phobia within the past 12 months).
•\- Current substance abuse (THC, amphetamine, opiates, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, and cocaine)
•\- Wearing glasses (without the ability to wear contact lenses)
•\- Traumatic brain injury or injury/surgery to the head \- Parkinson's disease or epilepsy as a pre\-existing condition
