Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.18\-year\-old and above
  • 2\. Diagnosed with moderate to severe MGD according to previously reported diagnostic
  • criteria comprising of ocular signs and symptoms along with various tests such as
  • Fluorescein Tear Film Break\-up Time (FTBUT) and Schirmerâ??s Test.
  • 3\. Ocular Surface Disease Index Score (ODSI) in both eyes.
  • 4\. Obstruction of MG orifices observed under slit lamp examination.
  • 5\. Presenting at least two clinical signs: redness or thickening of the lid margin,
  • telangiectasia, reduced or no secretions, poor quality secretions, and Meibomian gland
  • 6\. Willing to complete the three treatments and follow up regularly.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Dermatosis or disorders of eyes and face.
  • 2\. Ocular surgery or trauma in last 3 months,
  • 3\. Active intraocular inflammation, allergy or infection
  • 4\. Eye lid structural abnormality.
  • 5\. Skin cancer or pigmented lesion in treatment zone.
  • 6\. Pregnancy and lactation
