The pain scores were significantly lower in the iliohypogastric/ ilioinguinal group (mean 0.4) than the local anesthetic wound infiltration group (mean 2.6) at all time point. postoperatively. Total morphine consumption in the iliohypogastric/ ilioinguinal group(mean 9.2 mg)was lower than the local anesthetic wound infiltration group (mean 18.4 mg)at all estimated time intervals throughout the study
