Female biological sex; male biological sex; age range between 18 and 59 years; BMI equal to or greater than 30 kg /m2 (indicating obesity); sedentary (practicing less than 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous aerobic activity per week)
Unstable weight (2kg in the last 6 months); previous history or evidence of diseases that compromise the absorption of nutrients; cognitive impairment, in a way that compromises the understanding and consequent acceptance of participation in the research; hypertension; pacemaker patients; being in the gestational period or menopause; having an irregular menstrual cycle; smokers; have a food allergy or debilitating disease(s) of the gastrointestinal tract or some type of impairment of nutrient absorption; drug addicts or those with a history of misuse; those who start a diet or a sporting discipline during the study; those who are using or who during the study need to use medication that compromises or biases the results of the study; non-adherence to the proposed treatment (intervention); denial or withdrawal
