Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1Patients who have undergoing head and neck RT, IMRT/3DCRTbut not chemotherapy.
- •2Age group – 25\-65 years (Most prevalent age for Oral cancer)
- •3Sex\- Both male and female
- •4Patients willing to participate.
- •5Patients with ECOG (Eastern cooperative oncology group) performance score of 0 and 1
- •6Patients receiving 60\-66Gy of irradiation.
- •7Patients having oral cancer in posterior part of oral cavity.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1Patients with pacemakers, defibrillator, hearing aid and cochlear implants
- •2Pregnancy.
- •3Patients with skin lesions or abrasions on the face
- •4Patients who were already on medications that are known to cause xerostomia
- •5Patients who underwent any head and neck surgery involving salivary glands.
- •6Patient who has diagnosed with any salivary gland disorder.
