Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1Patients who have undergoing head and neck RT, IMRT/3DCRTbut not chemotherapy.
  • 2Age group – 25\-65 years (Most prevalent age for Oral cancer)
  • 3Sex\- Both male and female
  • 4Patients willing to participate.
  • 5Patients with ECOG (Eastern cooperative oncology group) performance score of 0 and 1
  • 6Patients receiving 60\-66Gy of irradiation.
  • 7Patients having oral cancer in posterior part of oral cavity.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1Patients with pacemakers, defibrillator, hearing aid and cochlear implants
  • 2Pregnancy.
  • 3Patients with skin lesions or abrasions on the face
  • 4Patients who were already on medications that are known to cause xerostomia
  • 5Patients who underwent any head and neck surgery involving salivary glands.
  • 6Patient who has diagnosed with any salivary gland disorder.
