Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Inclusion criteria for Qualitative part of the study:
- •1\. Adolescents aged from 12\-17 years old
- •2\. Adolescents who can communicate in English
- •3\. Adolescents whose parents have had the illness for at least 2 years
- •Inclusion criteria for Quantitative part of the study:
- •1\.Individuals diagnosed with mental illness such as schizophrenia, mood disorders and personality disorders who have adolescent children from the ages of 12\-17 years
- •2\.Spouse of the parent with mental illness or the ill parent who is stable enough to answer the questionnaire
- •3\.Parents who can communicate in English
- •4\.Parents who have had the illness for at least 2 years.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Adolescents diagnosed with any cognitive and/or psychological impairment
- •2\.Both parents diagnosed with mental illness
