Inclusion Criteria
- •dental students of JLU Gießen
- •= 20 natural teeth
Exclusion Criteria
- •- Braces, retainers (top)
- •- Oral piercing or tooth jewellery
- •- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- •- Cognitive and physical limitations when brushing teeth (e.g. due to arm injury)
- •- professional teeth cleaning or tooth polishing in the past 4 weeks
- •- Smoker (> 5 cig./day)
- •- No acute or chronic diseases affecting the oral cavity (e.g. diabetes, HIV, eating disorders, herpes)
- •- Not taking medication for epilepsy, heart disease or immunosuppression.
