Inclusion Criteria

People diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus with HbA1c criteria fulfilling the T2DM diagnosis (as blood sugar â??fasting/pp can vary due to multiple reasons among admitted patients with various diagnosis)

Exclusion Criteria

1. Type 1 diabetes mellitus patients

2. Pregnancy

3. Patients with other known causes of peripheral neuropathy such as alcoholic, uremia, tuberculosis, HIV etc.

4. Patients on certain drugs having peripheral neuropathy as established toxicity.

Primary Outcome Measures

The outcomes of this study will primarily be the clinical examination findings, the MNSI scores of the 2 steps and the score in monofilament testing of the sensation of the feet â?? giving the presence, prevalence and severity of the neuropathic associated with diabetes. <br/ ><br>The NCV test results will have a corroborative value to the primary outcomes.Timepoint: AT BASELINE
