1. Patients with internal haemorrhoids- Grade I and Grade II.
2. Patient must be a smoker (past or present).
3. Patients using topical agents for haemorrhoids will be included after a washout period of 1-week.
1. Grade III and IV haemorrhoids.
2. External haemorrhoids
3. Anal fissure or fistula
4. Recreational drug abuse
5. Previous history of surgery for haemorrhoids
Severely ill patients
•Pregnant or lactating mothers
•Psychiatric patients and
•Those unwilling to give consent to join the study.
