1. Subjects with clinical features of Generalized anxiety disorder (Chittodvega) under DSM- V criteria
2. Subjects between the age group of 20 to 60 years irrespective of gender, caste, religion will be included.
3. Both fresh and treated cases will be taken for the study
Definition of fresh cases include freshly diagnosed and untreated case of generalized anxiety disorder (Chittodvega)
Definition of treated cases includes already diagnosed and treated cases of generalized anxiety disorder (Chittodvega) with flush out period of 7 days.
1. Patients diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD
2. Patients with history of chronic drug abuse
3. Patients under any psychotropic medication
4. Pregnant and lactating women will be excluded from the study.
5. Patients with uncontrolled hypertension (blood pressure levels above the range of systolic-150, diastolic-100 mmHg) and uncontrolled diabetes (Random blood sugar level above 250 milligrams per deciliter)
6. Subjects unfit for intervention (nasya karma) will be excluded
