简要总结
Traction apophysitis of the medial epicondyle (MEC) is a common elbow injury in adolescent baseball players. The underlying pathology of the lesions associated with apophysitis seems to be due to repetitive traction stress via the medial ulnar collateral ligament (MUCL) to the skeletally immature MEC, as seen in young baseball players. Various types of morphological changes are observed at the MEC in baseball players, and fragmentation and hypertrophy have been commonly reported
详细描述
Phases of rehabilitation for Medial Epicondyle Apophysitis Phase I treatment involves resting and protecting the elbow to permit healing, to prevent further injury, and to control pain and swelling. Phase II treatment begins once pain and swelling have subsided to the point where the athlete can comfortably bear weight and walk from place to place. According to recent studies, vibrating devices like the PowerBall gadget have a greater effect on people with tennis elbow injuries than dumbbell exercise does on muscular strength, discomfort, range of motion, and health quality. Exercises using the "PowerBall device" are thought to be effective resistance training during the chronic period because the muscles of the wrist, elbow, and shoulder, apply both internal and external pressure. Muscle strength may have grown over this period because of neurovascularization, the creation of new blood vessels during the eccentric phase of training that enhances blood flow and speeds up tissue repair.

Double (Participant, Outcomes Assessor) Duple blinded (Outcomes Assessor, patients) Blinding process to participants and care providers was impossible due to the nature of intervention therapy. Data were analyzed by an impartial statistician (outcomes assessor), referring to each arm with an encoded name: Group 1 (control group) and Group 2 (PowerBall group),
