Inclusion Criteria
1. Patients undergoing elective lower limb orthopaedic surgeries
2. ASA-II ,III
3. Age between 18-75 years
Exclusion Criteria
1. A need for urgent or emergency surgery
2. ASA classification >III
3. Coagulation disorders or patient on anticoagulant
4. Neurologic disease/dementia
5. A history of acute or chronic consumption of any opioids or a2- adrenergic agonist
6. Patient suffering from intracranial hypertension
7. Local infection
8. Allergic reaction to local anaesthetic
