Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients undergoing elective lower limb orthopaedic surgeries
  • •2\. ASA\-II ,III
  • •3\. Age between 18\-75 years

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. A need for urgent or emergency surgery
  • •2\. ASA classification \>III
  • •3\. Coagulation disorders or patient on anticoagulant
  • •4\. Neurologic disease/dementia
  • •5\. A history of acute or chronic consumption of any opioids or a2\- adrenergic agonist
  • •6\. Patient suffering from intracranial hypertension
  • •7\. Local infection
  • •8\. Allergic reaction to local anaesthetic
