Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Young adults with active or latent trigger point (PG) in the upper trapezius muscle aged between 18 and 50 years old; with complaints of pain over three months were included. To confirm the diagnosis of myofascial PG; the following criteria were require; a palpable tense band in the upper trapezius muscle; range of motion limitation; a point sensitive to palpation and pain referred local or in specific areas according to the evaluated muscle
Exclusion Criteria
- •Participants diagnosed with fibromyalgia; radiculopathy; myelopathy; cervical vertebral fractures; needle phobia; coagulation disorder; muscular derelaxants; and physical therapy in the last three months in the cervical region will be excluded.
