Literate women; older than 18 years; with body mass index (BMI) > 30 kg/m2; who agree on participating on the study through signing the TCLE; who are not in the gestation period and postpartum; self reporting urinary incontinence in the last four weeks (measured by the score > 0 in the International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire-Short Form (ICIQ-SF); who are not engaged in a weight loss treatment It consists of a questionnaire that was translated and validated to Portuguese by Tamanini et al which evaluates the symptoms, UI severity and the impact that UI has in the woman life quality (QoL). It is a short questionnaire that aims to facilitate the data comparison of different studies and to enable a more consistent and unified evaluation of the UI symptoms and its impact on QoL.
Women who do not want to keep participating in the research; withdrawn their consent to participate in the study
