The inclusion criteria were 1) those who received a stroke diagnosis, 2) those who do not have an allergic reaction to Kinesio Taping, 3) those for whom six months have elapsed since the occurrence of their stroke to minimize the possibility of spontaneous re-covery, 4) those who are medically stable, 5) those without an occurrence of bilateral strokes or strokes on the contralateral cerebral hemisphere, 6) those with a score of 24 or higher on the Korean-Mini Mental State Examination (K-MMSE), and 7) those who are capable of communication and can understand and perform orders.
The exclusion criteria were 1) those with musculoskeletal disorders or complaints of pain 2) those with cardiovascular problems 3) those with cerebellar lesions 4) those with more than two strokes were excluded.
