DM patients undergoing outpatient treatment at the Unhas Hospital internal clinic who did not receive a referral to undergo an eye examination.
Patients who have been diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus who receive a referral to have an eye examination at the eye outpatient clinic at Unhas Hospital
Patients who are willing to become respondents to be given health education interventions and provide written consent.
Diabetes Mellitus patients who had been diagnosed with Diabetic Retinopathy before this research began.
Patients who are not willing to be respondents
Diabetes Mellitus patients who suffer from mental health disorders
