In Ayurveda,Liver play an important role as Chaya-upachayay, Ranjana of Rasa Dhatu, Storage and detoxification to keep body healthy. Due to Western Lifestyle Disorders, Agni play major role in manifestation of diseases such as Yakrita vikara (Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease). Ayurveda describes Liver disease in context of Yakrita Vikara . These concepts can be applied to fatty liver also. Nowadays NAFLD so common. Symptoms are loss of appetite, Indigestion, Nausea, Abdominal pain, Altered taste in mouth. The drug chosen for study is Rohitakadi vati described in Bhaishajya Ratnavali having Rechana *Purgative), Lekhana, Agnivardhaka, Ama, Medha Kapha nasak qualities.

- •1.Patients with clinical sign and symptom of Yakrita Vikara (Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease) are Aruchi, Hrillasa, Avipaka, Daurbalya, Udara shoola, Asya-vairasya, Anaha.
- •Fatty Liver Grade-1 and Grade-2 based on USG.
- •Liver function test showing raised Alanine amini transferase more than 1.5 times the normal limits.
- •Prediabetic patients.

- •1.Age group <20 years and >60 years.
- •2.Chronic Renal Failure, Ischemic heart disease, Congestive cardiac failure, Liver cirrhosis, AIDS.
- •3.Pregnancy and Lactation.
- •4.Prolonged medication for various systemic disorders.
- •Grade-3 Fatty Liver.
