Patients with IBS-like symptom that meet the ROME-IV diagnostic criteria among patients with ulcerative colitis with a Mayo clinic endoscopy subscore 0-1 point (endoscopic remission)
Patients who are younger than 19 years of age, have a Mayo clinic endoscopy subscore score of 2 or more, patients who have had proctitis or proctosigmoiditis by other causes such as infection, medication, radiation, ischemia, or Crohn's disease within 3 months of enrollment, patients using steroids, patients with a genetic problem such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption
