Primi gravida of 36 to 42 completed weeks of gestation, scheduled for elective caesarean section by Pfannenstiel incision
ASA I and II
Spinal anaesthesia related problems such as failure to achieve adequate spinal level, perception of pain intraoperatively requiring opioid supplementation.
Intraoperative surgical difficulties such as difficulty in closing peritoneum, excessive bleeding, uterine atony or operative injuries and placement of drain at wound site
Any case of stillbirth or newborns requiring ICU care.
History of allergy to local anaesthetics or NSAIDs.
Any ongoing infection or sepsis
Midline vertical skin incision
Patient refusing spinal anesthesia
