To develop and validate a comprehensive package of prevention- focused interventions targeted at youth (children, adolescents, young adults), parents and teachers for excessive and problematic use of technology (internet/ smartphone/ social media/gaming/ /gambling/ screen time) among the youth (children, adolescent, young adults). As part of Centre for Advanced Research on Addictive Behaviours (CAR-AB): Implementation focused initiative for delivering evidence-based interventions targeting excessive and problematic use of technology (smartphone/gaming/social media/gambling/screentime) and associated stress, depression, anxiety, addiction.

  • For youth (children, adolescents, young adults)- Registered as a student in a school or a college Aged 12 years or older Currently not screened positive for excessive and problematic use of technology (internet/ social media/ gaming/ gambling) as assessed by the study questionnaires Willing to participate in the study and provide written informed consent (if older than 18 years) or assent (if younger that 18 years) Parents/ legal guardians willing to provide written consent (if student is younger than 18 years) For parents- Currently not screened positive for excessive and problematic use of technology (internet/ social media/ gaming/ gambling) as assessed by the study questionnaires Aged 18 years or older Willing to participate in the study and provide written informed consent For teachers- Currently not screened positive for excessive and problematic use of technology (internet/ social media/ gaming/ gambling) as assessed by the study questionnaires Teaching in a school or college Aged 18 years or older Willing to participate in the study and provide written informed consent.

  • For youth (children, adolescents, young adults)- Screened positive for excessive and problematic use of technology (internet/ social media/ gaming/ gambling) as assessed by the study questionnaires Not willing to participate in the study or provide assent/ consent Parents/ legal guardians not willing to provide consent (if student younger than 18 years).
