Gender: males and females
Age: 18-70 years
Diagnosis: primary diagnosis of binge-eating disorder
Participation: Patients agree to come to Fribourg to the Center for Psychotherapy for the initial meeting with the prediagnostic assessment (diagnostic interview); in exceptional cases (e.g. long distance), the initial contact and
diagnostic interview can be carried out at the telephone.
Informed Consent: Patients need to give informed consent about the procedure and need to confirm their willingness to follow the guidance offers during the therapy.
Language: Participants will be excluded if they do not have self-reported sufficient German language skills.
Technical skills: Participants will be excluded if they do not have self-reported sufficient technical skills to work with the program.
Health: Another exclusion criterion is the presence of another serious psychological or medical condition that warrants priority treatment and pregnancy.
