Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Gender: males and females
- •Age: 18\-70 years
- •Diagnosis: primary diagnosis of binge\-eating disorder
- •Participation: Patients agree to come to Fribourg to the Center for Psychotherapy for the initial meeting with the prediagnostic assessment (diagnostic interview); in exceptional cases (e.g. long distance), the initial contact and
- •diagnostic interview can be carried out at the telephone.
- •Informed Consent: Patients need to give informed consent about the procedure and need to confirm their willingness to follow the guidance offers during the therapy.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Language: Participants will be excluded if they do not have self\-reported sufficient German language skills.
- •Technical skills: Participants will be excluded if they do not have self\-reported sufficient technical skills to work with the program.
- •Health: Another exclusion criterion is the presence of another serious psychological or medical condition that warrants priority treatment and pregnancy.
