Inclusion Criteria
All the diabetic patients of age above 18 years and either gender on insulin therapy for more than 6 months.
Patients are willing to answer the questions of KAP(self-administration or administration by caregivers).
Exclusion Criteria
Patients unable to give informed consent.
Patients with mental illness.
Pregnant women.

Name Time Method To develop, validate and test the reliability of insulin administration knowledge, attitude and practice questionnaire. <br/ ><br>To assess the level of KAP on insulin administration among diabetic patients or care givers. <br/ ><br>To study the factors associated with KAP score in diabetic patients. <br/ ><br>To assess the correlation between the KAP and glycemic control among diabetic patients.Timepoint: Single Point

Name Time Method The study will determine the KAP regarding the insulin administration among the diabetic patients or care givers. Based on this study results, KAP of patients can be improved by educating. An increase in patients KAP decreases the health care costs and there is an important role in the glycemic control.Timepoint: Single time
