Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Subjects aged 30\-65 yrs.
  • •2\. Non smokers
  • •3\. Subjects with chronic periodontitis.( with periodontal pocket \>\=5mm)

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Subjects with any systemic disease.
  • •2\. Subjects who have undergone any periodontal treatment in the last 6 months.
  • •3\. Subjects who have received antibiotics/anti\-inflammatory drugs/steroids in the recent past
  • •4\. Pregnant or lactating women.
  • •5\. Alcoholics or anti\-oxidant vitamin consumers.
