- Primary outcome is reduction of pain perception and anxiety levels in both the groups.

简要总结
There are only few studies conducted in the field of dentistry to analyses the effect of aromatherapy with Ylang Ylang essential oil on dental anxiety and pain in children during local anaesthesia procedure. Hongratanaworakit et al in 2004 found out that compared to an odourless placebo, ylang ylang oil caused significant decrease in blood pressure and pulse rate as well as significant increases of subjective attentiveness and alertness.

入选标准
- •Patient aged 6-9 years requiring L.A administration in maxilla/mandible for pulp therapies/ extraction of teeth.2)Children with a score of more than or equal to 12 on modified child dental anxiety scale (MCDAS) 3)Patient with significant good physical and mental health.
- •Patient with normal BMI range.
排除标准
- •Children outside the age range of 6 to 12 years.
- •Children with significant cognitive impairments or behavioral disorders that may interfere with the study or the procedure.
结局指标
主要结局
Primary outcome is reduction of pain perception and anxiety levels in both the groups.
时间窗: Measured at baseline and 5 min after procedure.
次要结局
- Physiological parameter like spo2 and pulse rate will be recorded.(Measured before and after procedure.)
