Inclusion Criteria

Sub-sample 1 (fathers with partners without risk pregnancy)

? at least 18 years old
? German as mother tongue or very good knowledge of the German language
? Men whose pregnant women are in the 3rd trimester of their pregnancy

Sub-sample 2 (men with partners with high-risk pregnancy)

? at least 18 years old
? German as mother tongue or very good knowledge of the German language
? Men whose pregnant women are in the 3rd trimester of their pregnancy and who are in inpatient treatment due to pregnancy complications (e.g. high risk on pre-term birth)

Sub-sample 3 (men whose partners are psychologically distressed)

? at least 18 years old
? German as mother tongue or very good knowledge of the German language
? Men whose pregnant women are in the 3rd trimester of their pregnancy and who are prenatally psychological distressed (EPDS>9)

Exclusion Criteria

Sub-sample 1 and 3

Men whose pregnant partners or fetuses have serious medical complications such as increased risk for preterm birth or fetal malformations and / or inpatient treatment during pregnancy

Primary Outcome Measures

The aim of the study is to assess the care and support needs of fathers and their psychological distress in different risk situations during pregnancy. These data should serve as the basis for the development of adapted interventions for expectant fathers.<br><br>In study A three sub-samples are examined; the fathers receive the questionnaire on support and care needs as well as questionnaires assessing their psychological distress (EPDS, GAD-7, SSS-8) in the third trimester of their partners`pregnancy.<br><br>
