•1.Male or female patients older than 18 years of age
•2.Diagnosis of STEMI and able to receive primary PCI within 12 hours after the onset of symptoms.
•3.Coronary angiography shows occluded or reduced flow or evidence of thrombus at culprit artery
•4.Occlusion site in proximal or mid segment of major epicardial artery

•1.Cardiogenic shock or cardiac arrest before randomization
•2.Planned CABG or cardiac surgery within next 6 months
•3.Stroke or TIA 1 month prior to the screening
•4.History of bladder cancer or history of radiation therapy to the lower abdomen or pelvis at any time
•5.Impaired renal function, defined as eGFR < 30 ml/min (MDRD formula) at screening
•6.Diagnosis of Myocardial Infarction with Nonobstructive Coronary Arteries (MINOCA)
•7.Life expectancy < 1 year
•8.Prior used of SGLT2i before enrollment
•9.Unable to receive SGLT2i per oral
•10.Prior history of myocardial infarction
•11.Any contraindication for MRI
•12.Bypass graft or stent thrombosis lesion
•13.Coronary collateral supply (Rentrop grade more than 2) to the culprit artery
•14.Planned stage PCI after day 4 of index procedure
•15.Pregnancy
•16.Contraindications to heparin or antiplatelet therapy
