Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients undergoing elective and emergency operative procedures ASA I\-II providing a written informed consent
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Medical history of concomitant disease
- •2\. Previous surgery at the site of radial artery cannulation
- •3\. Any vascular condition that may preclude eligibility for radial artery insertion e.g peripheral vascular disease
- •4\. Haemorrhagic shock
- •5\. coagulation disorders
- •6\. Obesity (BMI \>30\)
- •7\. Negative modified Allenâ??s test
