- •Inclusion Criteria :
- •Age more than 60 YEARS
- •Patient willing to give informed consent and procedure as per the declaration of Helsinki guidelines
- •American society of Anesthesiologist Physical Status : ASA 1,2 in patients undergoing elective surgeries under general anaesthesia.
排除标准
- •Patients with severe cardiac disease, liver diseases and renal dysfunction.
- •Patients not willing to give informed consent.
- •Emergency procedures.
- •Patients with hearing disorders.

To compare electroencephalogram (EEG) entropy and loss of verbal response, in determining the dosage of propofol required for induction of general anesthesia in geriatric patients.
时间窗: 1 mins, 5 mins and 10 mins after induction anaesthesia

- To compare the haemodynamic changes in both the groups during induction of general anesthesia.(1 min, 5 min & 10 mins after induction anaesthesia)
