Inclusion Criteria
Patients of Health Basic Units diagnosed with type 2 diabetes confirmed by medical records, who participated in at least three education group meetings, as a minimum age of 30 and maximum of 80 years, of both sexes and who signed the Terms of Consent.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients from Basic Health Units with Type I Diabetes diagnosis; not attend at least three group education meetings; users with psychiatric disorders or complications of the disease that affect the ability to respond to self-care tools and empowerment.
