Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Children with a known diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), showing an understanding of very simple instructions, and requiring routine dental treatment procedures
Exclusion Criteria
- •Children with a previous history of very violent and highly uncooperative dental behavior.
- •Children with a history of any accompanying medical or neurological disability like epilepsy that precludes the use of VR based technologies.
- •Children using therapeutic drugs that have a substantial affect on cortisol levels.
- •Children exhibiting a very low IQ, i.e., unable to follow very simple instructions
